Lectures on the Philosophy of Being Human by Leovino Ma. Garcia, Ph. D. Also includes insights and reflections of his Philosophy 101 Class of 2012-2013 and 2013-2014.
The phrase "endlessly loving and compassionate towards others" helps us remember about Levinas and his philosophy of the I being responsible for the Other. The word "endlessly" encapsulates the infinite responsibility wherein the I is never finished in being responsible for the Other. And just as the title goes, I believe that if we were to be more compassionate towards others; if we were to be more responsible for them, then this can become a fulfillment for us and we will become a better and happier human being.
