This Is How We Never Met

shared by Erika Tababa

This is a very interesting and light-hearted take on how we tend to give meanings to things instead of having them revealing themselves to us. I would really also like to connect this to my blog post about two weeks ago how we should have sometimes courage to just go up to another person and talk to them!

Really really recommend everyone to watch this to lighten up the hell-week vibes. :)

  1. I love this video! It's so funny.. =))) But anyway.. This certainly shows the idea of how the face represents the visible and invisible. Both of them chose to look at each other based on what they see and on first impressions. They're the ones who gave meaning to the other person and viewed each other in a way that satisfied their idea of the other in their heads. They failed to give the Other the chance to present their true meaning/intentions.

Aside from that, I thought of how their hesitance to come up to the other person shows that they're in the state of il y a.. still in dread to emerge and make their presence felt/acknowledged. And it's precisely that.. an acknowledgement, that people want to receive because it's through it that a person affirms him/herself.
